About the Journal
Indonesian Society and Religion Research (E-ISSN=3046-9678) is a renowned multidisciplinary journal exploring religion and social theory and practice. In 2026, The Journal indexed by SINTA 4 The publication attempts to bring together different disciplines and perspectives on current challenges and position them in their historical context. The journal fosters comparisons between stable and transitioning countries, regions, and faiths. The Journal accepts papers on all religious studies topics, including the history, literature, thought, practice, cultural materials, and institutions of specific religious traditions and communities from social, cultural, cognitive, ethnographic, economic, ecological, and geographical perspectives (excluding theology and philosophy of religion). Authors must develop research topics and discuss their findings theoretically or methodologically. This journal also accepts articles on religious education at all levels of education. We published four times a year in February, May, Agustus, and November
