Peran Akuntabilitas dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Lembaga Pendidikan Islam

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya akuntabilitas dalam meningkatkan kinerja lembaga pendidikan Islam, karena transparansi dan pertanggungjawaban menjadi faktor kunci dalam kualitas manajemen dan hasil pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis, di mana literatur terkait akuntabilitas, kinerja akademik, dan administrasi lembaga pendidikan Islam dikumpulkan, diklasifikasikan, dan dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi pola, praktik terbaik, dan kesenjangan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan akuntabilitas melalui prosedur operasional standar, evaluasi kinerja rutin, transparansi pelaporan, budaya organisasi yang profesional, integrasi teknologi informasi, dan mekanisme penghargaan serta sanksi berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja lembaga, baik secara akademik maupun administratif. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan bahwa penguatan akuntabilitas tidak hanya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan kepercayaan stakeholder, tetapi juga menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan strategi manajemen yang berkelanjutan dan berorientasi pada peningkatan kualitas lembaga pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini memberikan referensi praktis dan teoretis untuk pengembangan kebijakan dan penelitian lebih lanjut di bidang manajemen pendidikan Islam.
