KEPEMIMPINAN STRATEGIS KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM PENGUATAN BAHASA INGGRIS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepemimpinan strategis kepala madrasah dalam penguatan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di MIN 2 Metro. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif terhadap kepala madrasah, guru bahasa Inggris, dan pihak terkait lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala madrasah menerapkan strategi kepemimpinan berbasis visi bersama, pengembangan profesionalisme guru, dan kolaborasi tim. Meskipun demikian, hambatan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan fasilitas, serta resistensi terhadap perubahan di kalangan sebagian guru, masih menjadi tantangan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan strategis sangat penting dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, dengan implikasi untuk penguatan fasilitas dan pelatihan guru yang berkelanjutan. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan untuk pengembangan model kepemimpinan yang lebih adaptif di madrasah untuk meningkatkan pengajaran bahasa Inggris.
